ISCVPR 23^rd ANNUAL MEETING

President Katrina Riggin opened the board meeting at the 23^rd ISCVPR Annual Meeting.

SECRETARY REPORT: Secretary Report was published in the handout booklet for all members to read. The report was approved.

TREASURER’S REPORT: Treasurer’s report was handed out by Lauri Heflin and approved.

MEMBERSHIP: Susie Carter reported we have 158 members.

PROGRAM CERTIFICATION/ RECERTIFICATION: No report given.

WEBSITE: Laura York reported any updates will be communicated by email through the ISCVPR website. We also have a blog. To access the website, username is member and password is cardio234.

OUTCOMES: Dave Charter reported that it is critical to measure outcomes per AACVPR guidelines for certification.

REGIONAL MEETINGS: Union Hospital, Terre Haute, Indiana and St. Anthony Memorial Hospital,Michigan City, In hosted regional meetings in 2009.

REIMBURSEMENT: Connie Wilson attended Day On The Hill (DOTH). Her concerns were for critical access hospitals. She discussed the possibility that NP/PA could be used for emergencies in the critical access hospitals. Also, a study on cardiac rehab under reimbursement is being reviewed by CMS.
